Candied Pecans Recipe

Jesse’s Candied Pecans Recipe
• 5 Cups Whole Pecan Halves, cleaned
• 2 Egg Whites
• 2 T Water
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 2 t Iodized Salt
• 1 T Cinnamon, ground
• 2 t ginger, ground
• 2 t Cardamom, ground
• 1 1/2 t Coriander, ground
• Dash of Cayenne Pepper

METHOD:
Preheat oven to 250F, beat egg whites with water to stiff peaks and fold in the pecans immediately, coat completely, drain off any excess in a strainer. Combine the sugar, salt, and spices and toss the nuts in this mixture until evenly coated. Spread on a sheet tray in a single layer. Bake for 13-15 min or until golden brown. Cool completely before storing. Store airtight.
